This site was constructed to support and encourage the W.K. Kellogg Foundation's Leadership for Institutional Change (LINC) initiative and its project administrators to more deeply understand and iincorporate the arts where possible in their efforts to develop faculty leadership skills at land grant universities nationwide. LINC works to build the rank of engaged, thoughtful scholars and practitioners committed to higher education working in partnership with communities for the public good.

Public art practice will prove a powerfull ally in constructing the change and leadership skills necessary in higher education for the next generation. LINC provides an ideal means to experiment with public art endeavors where partnerships between universities and artists address important issues in a collaborative, learning-oriented way.

The W.K. Kellogg Foundation provided funding support to develop and launch this web site. Site developer is Karl Lorenz. Please feel free to contact me with comments on content or ways in which to improve the resources or functionality of the site.
